How do I create a note?
Press “New note”. The cursor is already in the title: type it, press Enter, and keep writing. There is no save button, because everything saves itself.
How do I add lists, tables or images?
Type / on an empty line to open the menu of blocks, or use the toolbar above the note. You can also drag pictures and files straight into a note, or paste them.
Can I use noted. offline?
Yes. After you have opened noted. once on a device, it also opens without a connection. Notes you create or change offline are kept on that device and sent automatically when you are back online. The indicator at the top shows whether everything is saved.
What happens if I edit the same note on two devices?
Both sets of changes are kept and merged, even if one of the devices was offline. If something does not look right, open Version history from the note's menu to see or restore earlier versions.
How do I share a note?
Open the note and press Share. Invite someone by email and choose whether they can view or edit, or create a link that anyone can open. To stop sharing, remove the person or press “Stop sharing” next to the link.
How do I install the app?
On a computer, look for the install icon in your browser's address bar, or go to Settings → App and offline. On a phone, open your browser's menu and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
How do I export or delete my data?
Settings → Your data downloads everything as a ZIP file. Settings → Account and security lets you delete your account permanently, together with all your notes and files.
